PCBN COMPACTS

PCBN compacts are made of CBN particles, binder and cemented carbide matrix at high pressure and high temperature. The polycrystalline structure makes the polycrystalline cubic boron nitride have isotropy, which overcomes the defects of the cleavage plane of the single crystal. At the same time, PCBN compacts has the impact toughness of the cemented carbide matrix.
